My Third Teaching Practice
On this day, I performed my teaching practice for the third time. I woke up in the morning as usual. Then, I started to get ready from 4 AM. I had a breakfast with a cup of milk and biscuits to boost my energy. Then, I went to Araullo High School at around 5.30 AM from my dorm by feet. When I arrived, I directly went to the classroom for the first class, which was RR class. I directly opened the room 310. There, there was a student from RR class who was waiting for me. I opened the class because I was asked by my cooperating teacher to open it since she was not be able to come on this day. Therefore, she entrusted a classroom key to me in the last day. In RR class, I asked the student to read new text in English orally. Then, in the next class, the Einstein class, I asked them to read a new reading text entitled "My Father Goes to Court" by Carlos Bulosan. I also assigned the class to prepare for a group activity about role playing in resolving a conflict of a certain scenario. After the students had read the text, I asked them comprehension questions about the text through snakes and ladders game. They answered the question in a group. After teaching Einstein, I continued teaching Pythagoras class. For Pythagoras class, I asked them to start their discussion. Then, the next classes, such as, Gates and Rizal, I asked them to read the text and answer questions through snakes and ladders game just like the Einstein class. Once I have done teaching, I unplugged and turned off all the electricity and locked the door. Then, I went back to my dorm with my friends. When I arrived, I directly ate my lunchbox in my room while calling m friends. In the late afternoon, we were visited by Ma'am Vicky and Ma'am Dhana. After we met them, we ate again at Karin and Kinan's room. Then, we did the dishes and came back to our room for taking a rest and prepared ourselves for the teaching practice in the next day.
