D-1 Going Back to Indonesia
On this day, I woke up in the morning as usual. We planned to go to some places accompanied by Aly, Mona, Jaira, and Yella. In the morning, all of us prepared ourselves by 9 AM. We didn’t have a breakfast on this morning. After we got ready, we went to a self-photo studio. It was far so that we took Jeepney and bus to get there. When we arrived, we were given an hour for a photo session. We took many pictures together as it was our last day together with the SEA Teacher exchange students. We also took pictures individually. An hour later, all of the pictures captured were sent to us. We could see how good the results were. Moreover, each of us should pick pictures which should be printed. Then, we got the hard copy of it too. After taking pictures, we went to Jollibee for lunch. As usual, we ordered fried chicken and rice. Then, we ate together there. As soon as we finished our food, we went to Quiapo. We went there by using Jeepney. In Quiapo, we visited a store which sold souvenirs from Philippines. The souvenirs varied. There were keychains, mini wallet, hat, fork, spoon, pen, bracelet, and many more. My friends bought some souvenirs there. I only bought keychains there. After we did shopping there, we went back to our dorm. In our dorm, I tried to continue packing all my belongings. Then at night, we had our last dinner together. It was actually a simple dinner, yet it was very meaningful. For the dinner, my friends made spaghetti. We ate it with some of our friends, such as SEA Teachers from PNU (Aly, Mona, Jaira, and Yela) and Indonesian students (Kak Fani and Matthew). We talked a lot since it was our last night gathering together. After that, before Aly, Yela, Jaira, and Mona went home, they gave us presents as well as messages to us. We were sad to know that. When they went home, my friend and I cleaned up the room and did the dishes. After that, we took a rest because in the next day, we would be going to the airport to go back to our country, Indonesia.
